PRICING

Pricing: free while databooq is in beta.

There is one plan today and it costs nothing. Every feature databooq has is switched on for every account: no response cap, no limit on how many forms you publish or how many seats they offer, and no credit card at signup.

This page spells out what that covers, where your data lives, and what will change when the beta ends. Nothing below is a feature waiting behind a paid tier - if it is listed, it works today.

What is included

The full product, not a starter slice of it. This is what an account gets today.

Capacity and the booking loop

  • Per-slot seat limits on slot cards and grids, per-option limits on choice questions
  • Counters that update live in every open tab, checked at the database so a seat cannot be claimed twice
  • Waitlists that email the first in line the moment a seat frees up
  • Confirmation emails with calendar (.ics) invites, plus automatic reminders before a slot starts
  • Self-service cancel links that put freed seats straight back into play

Building and answering

  • Eighteen question types, including picture choice and file upload, plus headings, statements and page breaks
  • Three display modes: classic list, one question per page, or conversational
  • Show and skip rules based on earlier answers
  • Quiz scoring with points, partial credit, a pass threshold, and optional answer review
  • Design templates, your own colors, fonts, and logo
  • Respondent interface in English, Czech, and Danish

Data and integrations

  • Exports to CSV, XLSX, and JSON, plus a PDF per response
  • Embed any form in your own site with one script tag, seat counters and all
  • Google Sheets live sync: one connection, a row per response
  • Signed webhooks with an HMAC signature your server can verify
  • Funnel analytics counted without cookies or third-party tracking

Team and account

  • A personal workspace by default, shared workspaces when you need them
  • Teammate invites by email
  • Email notifications for new responses and sessions filling up
  • Ready-made templates, and any form you build can become one of your own
  • File uploads with the size and type rules you set per question

Where your data lives

Free does not mean paid for with data. databooq is designed around the GDPR rather than retrofitted to it, and the paperwork is written down rather than sold as an upgrade.

Hosted in the EU

The application, the database, and uploaded files all run on infrastructure in the European Union. Nothing is mirrored elsewhere.

A DPA in the terms

A Data Processing Addendum under Article 28 GDPR is part of the terms every account accepts, at no cost and with no sales call.

No tracking on your forms

Published forms set only strictly necessary cookies. No ad pixels and no third-party analytics follow your respondents.

Leave with everything

Export every response in open formats and delete your account yourself. Deletion actually deletes.

What happens when the beta ends

The honest version, so you can plan around it.

  • No end date is set. The beta runs until the product is finished enough to charge for, and this page will say so before anything changes.
  • Paid plans will arrive with published prices, fair limits, and plenty of notice by email. Nothing can be charged to an account that has no payment method on file, and there is nowhere to enter one today.
  • Forms you build during the beta keep working. Exports in open formats stay part of the product, so your responses are never held hostage to a plan change.

Pricing questions

Is databooq really free?

Yes. Every feature is included at EUR 0 per month while the product is in beta. There is no trial clock, no credit card at signup, and no feature held back for a paid tier that does not exist yet.

Are there limits on forms, responses, or seats?

No. There is no response cap, no limit on how many forms you publish, and no limit on how many seats a form can offer. The only limits are the ones you set yourself, such as the size and file types allowed on an upload question.

What happens when the beta ends?

Paid plans will arrive with published prices, fair limits, and plenty of notice by email. Forms you built during the beta keep working, and nothing can be charged to an account with no payment method on file.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Creating an account takes an email address and a password. There is no payment step anywhere in the product today.

Where is my data hosted?

On infrastructure in the European Union: the application, the database, and uploaded files. Nothing is mirrored outside the EU, and a Data Processing Addendum under Article 28 GDPR is part of the terms.

Can I get my data out again?

Yes. Responses export to CSV, XLSX, and JSON, with a PDF per response, and you can delete your account yourself at any time. Exports are part of the product, not a paid add-on.

Start now, decide later.
